LibraryThing (where I’ve catalogued my pitiful bookcase) has added RSS feeds for a bunch of stuff: recently added books by user and tag, reviews, &c. &c. It’s probably not useful, per se, but definitely fun — and it does give a time-based view of a collection, which up until now has been missing.

Bah, its perfectly usefull. Ive subscribed to you're new book feed as well as reviews of the books I own. Fantastic.

So you can see which books you can't borrow from me (because we're on opposite sides of the globe), and can hear what other people think about books you've already bought. As I said: not useful, but fun. ;-) Now a recommended reading list integrated with the catalogues of the 2nd-hand bookstores in A'dam, *that* would be useful.
