UC Berkely have a working prototype exoskeleton. Don’t go ape yet, it’s strictly human-scale, legs only, and used for carrying a heavy backpack. But it’s working, which is more than can be said for the competition… so far…

These guys have a bunch of other cool stuff, including a wheelbarrow with legs, a robotic pogo stick (they tell us it’s robotic…), an artificial fish, and various other cool stuff.
