So yes, it’s been rather quiet around here. I’ve been busy with a bunch of projects, the most important of which is:

Since last Friday we know it’s a boy; the working title is “Visigotis”. Visigotis is expected at the end of April; we hope he will hang on for May Day.

Whatever project number 2 could be, compared to that it can’t be too exciting, right? Wrong.

Project number 2 is our permanent emigration to Greece.

We’re dipping our toes in already in March, to have Olga’s family around when the baby is born. I’m keeping my job, trying out working from a distance: for six months there will be heaps of back-and-forth travel while we figure out if it works, and all going according to plan by September we’ll be completely settled and officially resident in Greece.

At which point we’ll have a big party and invite everyone, don’t worry.
