The committee have approved my dissertation.1 So I can go ahead with printing, once I’ve proofread and designed a cover. Which I should have done a month ago.2

This means the defence date is pretty much fixed: December 15th, a double defence with Michael Franke.

In related news, Olga will defend her MSc thesis tomorrow — we’re gonna be a pair of Masters of Logic!

  1. With varying degrees of enthusiasm. A couple of chapters were written in a frantic last-minute dash and are “dense” (read: horrible), and the technical bits are much less nicely worked out than the rhetoric. [↪]
